KindboLab: A Website for Children’s Creative Activities
A site for a children’s activity centre with content from Contentful, class registration, and event pages the team can update without writing code.

Background
KindboLab is a space for children to explore and create, running themed activities across art, experiments, and discovery to build curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
The client needed a site that looks engaging and professional, but that their non-technical team could update themselves. class information, event schedules, and parent testimonials alike.
The challenge
- Content that changes often. class schedules, events, and testimonials need regular updating without touching code
- Two audiences. the site has to convince children, who respond visually, and parents, who need clear information and reassurance
- A secure registration form. protection from spam and bots without making it harder to use
- Performance and responsiveness. fast on every device, especially the phones parents use on the go
What we built
Engaging, purposeful visual design
- A landing page with a visually strong interactive hero banner
- An About section that introduces the KindboLab philosophy warmly and personally
- A class carousel built with Swiper.js for smooth, intuitive navigation
- An interactive vertical stepper laying out the themed service flow clearly
A separate events system
- A dedicated `/events` page, apart from the landing page, showing the full schedule
- A preview of the latest events on the homepage through the `HomeEvents` component
- An elegant empty state for when no events are running
Headless CMS with Contentful
- All content. classes, events, testimonials. is managed from the Contentful dashboard, no code required
- The KindboLab team can add, edit, or remove content whenever they want
- Content is pulled dynamically at build time through the Contentful Delivery API
A protected registration form
- hCaptcha integration shielding the contact and registration forms from bots and spam
- Friendly input validation with clear error messages

- A back to top button that appears on longer scrolls
- Smooth scrolling with precise navigation offsets on every anchor link
